Cry for Sultan is a song about the human condition in this age. We are living in the age of the dissolution of moral values and the rise of the Satanic kingdom, running hand in hand with the technological advances and the spread of social media. The human suffering and oppression are symptoms of the spiritual state our world finds itself in.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) described the signs to look for as an indication of the nearness of the hour (judgment day). Although all of the signs have come true in our time, this song mentions only three main ones:
1 - Humans killing each other in great numbers.
2 - The reversal of moral values.
3 - The state of faith and religion in this age.

Prophet (pbuh) taught his companions that at such time, one of his grandchildren (Muhammad Al-Mahdi) will appear, he will again fill the earth with justice after it was filled with oppression. This song is a prayer asking Allah to send Sayyidina Al-Mahdi.

The coming of Sayyidna Al-Mahdi is not a myth as some Muslims today believe. According to the beliefs of the people of the Sunnah (the Hanafi, Hanbali, Shafi’i and Maliki schools), the coming of the Mahdi, the descent from the skies of the Prophet ‘Isa/Jesus (as) and his bestowing the role of imam on the Mahdi are all unquestionable tenets of faith.
According to the belief of the People of the Sunnah, there are 10 absolute portents of Doomsday in the tenets of Islam. These include the coming of the Prophet ‘Isa (as) and the Mahdi. Everybody knows these signs, and they cannot be denied.

lyrics

Everybody pray for sultan, Muhammad Al-Mahdi
Yes my lord
Everybody, cry for sultan, send him quickly
Please my lord

Brother killing brother,
neither one knows why
Can’t trust one another,
we’re swimming in an ocean of lies

Everybody, pray for sultan, Muhammad Al-Mahdi
Yes my lord
Everybody, cry for sultan, send him quickly
Please my lord

All values are upside down,
good is bad, bad is good
Modesty became a sin,
Lust and greed became good

Everybody, pray for sultan, Muhammad Al-Mahdi
Yes my lord
Everybody, cry for sultan, send him quickly
Please my lord

Religious people, they fill the earth,
but you can’t find god in their hearts
Ego worship is now the prevalent faith
We’re proud of who we are

Everybody, pray for sultan, Muhammad Al-Mahdi
Yes my lord
Everybody, cry for sultan, send him quickly
Please my lord
